SHIPPING TIME.
Yes, it took longer than 14 days to receive my new glasses from EBD. My order date: SEP 28, 2020; received: OCT 26, 2020. So more like 28 days. I live in Victoria, Australia. A few reviews online were coming in low because people were freaking out about the time it was taking to receive their glasses, and tbh, it had me concerned I may have fallen for a scam. Contacted EBD via livechat a few times, and they reassured me it was going through the final stages of quality control. I think this might be a standard response for whatever reason it's being delayed. I could tell by the shipping label that it had been posted to their agent in Sydney, Australia, before being posted on from there, so the delay was probably the shipping time from the manufacturing origin. If your order shows "dispatched", that probably means your glasses have been manufactured and have been shipped to your local hub. Once it gets to the hub, and is shipped on, you'll get a "shipped" status, and a tracking number. Now it's in your country, and on it's way to you.
FRAMES
Lightweight, sturdy, "tight" (feel nicely put together), great fit. I have a big head, and one of the reasons I went online when I got my latest prescription, is how difficult it is to get frames that fit me well. My last pair have left me with indented lines in my flesh between my ears and eyes. This frame is broad enough that the only contact between me and my frames, are on my nose pads and just above my ears, where it should be.
LENSES
As per my prescription. Bifocal, transition, antiglare, all good. Quality, no issues.
PRICE
I went to OPSM to get my script, and they quoted me $1,000+ for something similar, and that's without having any frames that would be a suitable size for me. EBD? $226 delivered to my door. For well fitting, stylish, well made glasses. Need I say more?
OVERALL
Legitimate business. Some reviews have said that the quality of frames across the range varies. Mine
